So today I found out I have parasites which I found out when my body expeld them becuase I have been eating raw. Now there are A ton, when i looked online I found out that the kind I am expelling can also travel to other parts of your body and cause cysts (THE CESTODES). Now when I look for information on this is says that they can travel to your brain, lungs and gallbladder, but has no information of your thyroid. Does any one know anything about this or have any past experience thanks, Jessica*

If I were you I would go to my local Health Food Store and get ParaGone or something that gets rid of parasites. Let them know what the problem is and what you are experiencing.

Can those parasite programs kill parasites throughout the body or just in the intestines?

Hilda Clark wrote a book on parasites. Can't remember the title. Gave instructions on how to build an electrical machine so you could kill them off yourself.

I'd seek the help of an experienced naturopath or another experienced holistic practitioner like an herbalist. Where they spread may depend on how long you've had them. Good luck to you. :)

Even if it does only kill the parasites in your intestines there is no harm in trying that is there? I do believe it's for the entire body though!

I've done Paragon. I really like the Renew Life company and have done a lot of educational seminars with them when I was employed at a health food store and respect their quality levels. Made me feel like crap though, that product.

Would extended fasting kill off parasites? Just starve them to death....
My friend is a colon hydrotherapist and is always telling me stories about worms shooting out of people down the tube.....They're there folks!

Ok not trying to sound stupid, but how do you know if you have them?

Most of the time we won't get symptons. I know food cravings is one, for sure, but not to say that's the only cause of food cravings; it could be mental/emotional. I had read that an itchy rectum, especially around the full moon when they are more active, is a sympton. I was dubious until that happened to my best friend's six-year-old daughter......

Thanks!! My husband has suffered from an itchy rectum for at least 10 years. He even went to a dr who basically said he just had an itchy anus. Can you believe that! I always thought it was candida or something....I wonder if this could be parasites

Where and how do you get parasites? And if there are really no symptoms --how do do check for them?

Hulda Clark's book The Cure for All Diseases starts with the kidney, gallbladder, upper bowel and then lower bowel cleanse. I always have my clients follow her program. It is thorough and much cheaper than some of the others that employ psyllium which causes a chemical reaction in the colon that a lot of the practitioners call mucoid plaque. Simple is best.

(This is for Heather's 10 year rectal itch):

The 10 year itch could be from an allergy. I am allergic to Charmin tissue and it was horrible not knowing what caused the itch! Perhaps your husband is extra sensitive/allergic to soap, detergent, or tissue.

Ever kiss a dog? Walk barefoot outside? Drink spring water? Travel to a warm country? Then, you too, my friend, may have parasites! As a matter of fact, according to the Center for Disease Control, you do.......(I only quote Western medical sources when it agrees with my theories...:D )
The problem with testing for parasites is that they don't come out. They live in you. Dr. Skye Weintraub covers some good ground in her books on this topic.
I believe a good annual cleansing is important. A good anti-parasitic cleanse will lead you through at least two cycles. You kill off worms, go off cleansing so the next batch of eggs harvest, then you kill off that round.

So, bear with me if this next bit seems out there. There's a Native American naturopath in Oregon named Dr. Deborah Frances, also an R.N. and herbalist and medicine woman. I have profound respect for this lady. I was at a herbal workshop and she was talking about working with a family where the kids repeatedly got scabies. After the kids got reinfected despite the mother being meticulous with medical applications and household cleaning, the doctor knew something else was going on. She did a sage burning in the house with the family, at which point there was an active scaby infestation. The scabies then cleared up.
I just thought I'd share this with you all to remind ourselves of the mystical element of life and that physical ailments don't always have physical solutions.

Thank you Stina.

I have a sister in Miami FL who is financially challenged and she is infested with the botsfly worms that are not native to this continent. The doctors do not know what it is nor what to do for it. Since it is outside their training and experience they refuse to address it. I saw something on-line using turpentine but do not know if she has tried it. She has suffered with this for years. We also tried to suffocate them with Vaseline but did not work. Sometimes the worms come out but when she tries to get them they scoot back in. It is a nightmare.

They must have come in through Miami International Airport. When she had her house she had African Doo Doo bugs in her yard. (Not real name.) Anyway she never had to clean up the dog poop because these shimmering with purple and green and blue black beetles would come up from the dirt and quickly suck it under. Tempted to import them! Amazing what can live in a fertile warm moist area like that.

Once I read in really old home-remedy health care book about having people fast and then, oh, what was it...... sit in sitz bath of warm milk and simultaneously be breathing in the vapors of warmed milk. And the worms would crawl out. That's what was happening to my friend's six-year-old girl. She thought her daughter was exaggerating about having an itchy rectum, took her to the doctor who saw nothing, and finally the little girl came to her with some on her underwear. Yep!

yech! Thanks for that though! LOL!

I don't think the allopathic testing covers the whole spectrum of parasites possible.

I've used Dr. Richard Schulze's (www.herbdoc.com) Intestinal Formula #1 and Formula #2 as a colon cleanser. One of the books he has describes parasites that some of his patients have had, truly amazing! These products kill and remove the parasites. His products are vegan and I have been pleased with the ones I've used.

I have been using Bowtrol, it is available on ebay or online. It is excellent and will take care of all stages of Parasites. I have done two bottles and will do one more cycle.

I have heard that if you eat garlic everyday parasites will move out, along with your friends.

The Parasite Mama will come out of your anus in the night and lay eggs. She depends on you touching your anus and transporting her eggs into your other orifices(sp?) to get them to hatch and join her. That's just one way those nasty things keep the partying going in your body. I took a parasite cleanse from the HFS. Had to do it every couple of months till they disappeared. This is common in children especially..... have fun!

man, this is like the Halloween Horror thread!

I don't really know anything about parasites except that pinworms are really common among toddlers, much like lice can be common with younger school kids.

I had parasites once (roundworms) which I'm quite sure I got from sushi.

I got rid of them by doing a month-long juice fast along with daily enemas.

I think WE ALL HAVE THEM!! I know, scary, right? but considering you can get them from walking barefoot, eating sushi, salads and getting a kiss from a dog, I am sure soo many of us have them and don't even know it.. I'm not sure why its more of a problem for some people, maybe different type? anyhow, a parasite cleanse worked for me, I used Paragone...pretty easy too

A great herbal cleanse for parasites is Black Walnut Hull Tincture, Wormwood herb in capsules and Clove in Capsules. The combination of the three kill parasites. Also eating raw pumpkin seeds can get rid of pin worms. Parasites eat B Vitamins in the blood, so people who can never get rid of anemia don't need more iron, they need a parasite cleanse. I got the Cloves from Blue Moon Herbal Products and the Wormwood from Kroeger Herb Company and just ask them for the Black Walnut Hull tincture, too.
