....first of all, I must say that I really enjoy this board....you all so wonderful...and helpful...I've been transitioning to Raw and this site helps me so much..............I am a mom of 3 boys....I am 5'1 and small framed. My first 2 boys are twins and we were quite Blessed that they arrived full term - and heathy weights...8lbs 2ozs., and 7lbs 6 ozs's!!! Needless to say, though I lost most of my pregnancy weight, the extra skin on my abdomen is......very stretchy and floppy and disproportionate to the rest of my body....after my 3rd was born {8 lbs 11 ozs}, I began seriously thinking about a tummy tuck....I still am, but am curious to know if skin that loses it's elasticity can regain it on Raw???!!! anybody know??? My family doc and ob/gyn all say that only plastic surgery will help.....they even talked about it during my c-section!!! I'd love not to have plastic surgery....and imagine all the raw equipment and foods I could buy instead....but it really is floppy skin...have to tuck in pants etc.. .................???!!!!!!Deb in Michigan

I have been raw for some time now. My loose skin isn't going anywhere.. I personally don't know how to help you. I want a tummy tuck too :o

I have a problem remembering where I have been but I do know that I read on another raw food site that it can firm up after 2 years 100% raw - but it was referring to loose skin from being overweight. I don't know if it also applies to loose skin from pregnancy.
There have been some threads here where people have claimed certain creams aided but I cannot remember the title or topic exactly to find for you.
Tucking it in would really make me want to do the surgery also. One of the prices we pay for being moms and wives. . . .for centuries women had no options - makes me glad I am in this one.

There are some things you can try before you get the lipo surgery done. You could try cold pressed oils such as olive or coconut. At Nature's First Law you can get some MSM cream. Of course exercise will help. Also it may take some time. Time, eating raw, and using the oils is what I am going to try. I also think that age has a lot to do with it as well as how long you have had the loose skin. I am 45 so it will be a lot harder for me. I will have to check with back through my Eating for beauty book to find out more about what raw foods to eat to improve the skin. If I come up with something interesting I will post it.

Thank you all for your advice and compassion - re: cold pressed oils, do you mean just incorporating those into diet? Deb

I've read that when you are prego your stomach muscles separate. and unless after each pregnancy you whipped right back into shape, stayed in shape while prego, and are relatively young, that it's very difficult for them to every stich back together. I have not been prego as of yet but every single one of my friends has. So i've read plenty of books.
It's even harder after twins. There isn't any diet in the world that can stich your stomach muscles (lining/wall) back together. From what I've read
