I stopped having my menses about 7 years ago is it possible to restart again with a raw diet?
I'm asking because i read somewhere that it is possible with the body becoming cleaner and the organs being supplied with all the nutrients they need to become healthier.
I never had children and i'm just wondering, it would be a shock to have ones fertility restored.
Hubbies of raw wives would get the surprise of a lifetime:D especially those who thought childbreaing was a thing of the past:)

I can't speak to the menses but I can speak to the sexual vitality. My sexual vitality has been declining for years. Since Aug 1st when I went 100% raw (this is my 62nd day) some amazing changes have been taking place. One of those changes has been in the area of sexual vitality. I have experienced an increase as if the biological clock has been turned back at least a decade or more. If I had started taking a drug I would feel that the drug was a good one, but I have taken no drugs or pharmaceuticals of any kind. The only thing I have taken is a good strong dose of 100% raw foods. If raw foods can have this kind of an effect on me I don't see any reason they can't have an effect on you. :)

Bethanie, in the sad world menses usually stops when all eggs have been used in ovulation. If your eggs are gone they will not come back. However in today's society anorexia and other health conditions also cause menses to stop. In that situation, where there are still eggs present, a raw diet would almost definitely restart ovulation. Hemorrhaging is not natural even though it has been normal in females eating cooked foods. So even a former anorexic may not bleed though ovulation had returned.
There was a very good article discussed here several times in the past few years. If you are interested the link was in the posts. It was something from Kytka at waldorfhomeschools I believe.
Really thought I don't believe you need be concerned. :)

I'm reading about so many things being reversed trough the raw lifestyle diet and i would just wondering.
I'm amazed by how good i'm feeling it's almost like getting to start all over in life again.
15 or more years seem to be erasing themselves, looking better and feeling great.
Someone remarked that i'm not aging and i wasn't into raw but i was vegan at the time.
There is something to look forward to every morning i wake up:D
I've noticed lately that i'm feeling something like electrical charges in my body, like a new battery in a car all the pistons are firing and my engine is ready to take out at high speed:D
I scared me at first i didn't know what was happening but now i'm getting use to it a little at a time.
Real food is full of energy.

From a medical standpoint. If you are menopausal and you have not had your period in several years, you need to see your doctor. If you are young and athletic and your menses has just stopped because of low body fat or other factors, then I wouldn't worry about it.
