Salad dressing question

Hey how long do salad dressings last in the fridge? I love making fresh ones but sometimes they end up sitting...... I wondered if the oil extends shelf life at all. Any feedback appreciated!

Speaking for myself, mine usually last no more than a week. After that they begin to smell funny and break down.

About a week here too. I try to just make smaller batches that will just last us a couple of days. If I get to much I'll use it up in other ways.

I definitely agree here. Salad dressings last no longer than a week. I make batches sized according to what I plan to use them for.

It depends entirely on what their ingredients are. If it's just a vinegar and oil sort of deal, they will last a year. If it's stuff with blended veg, fruit, ginger, garlic, seeds, avocado, etc., it changes dramatically. Say Renee Loux Underkoffler's Tamarind Caesar (one of my fave dressings), I think about 3-4 days max. Raw mayo, 1 or 2 days max, etc...
