You should try Raw priestess brownies, the recipe has been around for a while, and is very good,

Placing them in the dehydrator they looked really nice, just like I use to make when I worked for Mrs Fields Cookies...

The recipe sounds great!
I like your face veganbear. If I was a guy and could grow facial hair, that's how I'd want to do it. Your blog is really interesting too.
But dern it guy! What are you tormenting us chocolate lovers with the "you'll have to wait until Monday for a photo." Ya think we're gonna buy that line? Not a chance. By Monday all those brownies will be gone and you'll have some kind of excuse as to why you couldn't post a picture and the tormenting goes on and on and on!!! Dern 'ya man!!! Don't do that to a chocolate lover!

you know I'm just kidding, right? :p

I had to let them cool after being in the dehydrator for 12 hours... but you will have to wait till tomorrow as I still have to make the chocolate topping...

Mine are done and frosted. They are really yummy but have a strong macadamia nut taste. Are there any other nuts that would work as well and maybe not be so overpowering?

Maybe add a bit more chocolate powder...
Thought about using sunflower seeds and Macadamia nuts together...
I like the buttery taste of the nuts though...

i want to try these!!
i agree with the raw treats being filling part. i think thats why they help me lose weight. if i just eat a few pieces of raw fudge, i am so satisfied. with conventional candy you just more and more sugar bc its so empty. raw desserts/candy are a little divine gift lol.

I would LOVE to make these but do not have macs. I DO have tons of cashews, which are also very creamy....would they work?
I don't want to waste the cashews, so if someone has made these wonderful looking brownies with cashews...I would love to hear about it
Thanks!

Hi i made these using brazil nuts for a buttery taste & they worked fine. hopefully your cashews will be ok too. Mind you cashews arent actually nuts, they are legumes, so maybe they wont have the necessary 'fat'content to give the brownies that heavenly fullness
