Okay... food bars suck Sorry :rolleyes: They do!! I had never tried one I loved until now!!
Wal-Mart sells "Raw Organic Food Bar" in 2 flavours.. Raisin Cinnamon (Which is GROSS) and Chocolatey Chocolate Chip! And let me tell you I have never seen so much raw chocolate in all my life and it's sweet delicious healthy goodness you will ever eat in your life. They pack sooo many chocolate chips into this bar the only thing better would be if they dipped the entire bar into the chocolate but HOLY MOSES!!! This is the BEST raw bar you will ever try!!! So for those who are new to raw and frustrated by how to eat raw... use one of these as a snack because they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOO friggen good! Hahaha.. I bought 11 of them at less than $2.00 a bar, last night.

Unfortunately they're not REAL raw bars. That's why they taste so good.

Ingredients: Organic Cashew Butter, Organic Dates, Organic Premium Agave Nectar, Organic Brown Rice Protein, Organic Dark Chocolate Chips – Non-Dairy (Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Organic Chocolate Liquor, Organic Cocoa Butter, Non-GMO Soy Lecithin), Organic BioSprouts-Quinoa, Organic BioSprouts-Flax.

Probably only 1 or 2 ingredients that are raw, if that. Wish these companies would stop falsely labeling products.

Yea those bars are a scam. Healthy enough I guess but definitly not raw. There are little to no regulations on food labeling when it comes to raw. The best raw bars in my opinion are VEGA, LARA, SMARTMONKEY.

I found the simplist recipe here for some yummy bar-like treats!

1 cup soaked dates
1 cup dehydrated fruit (I've tried raisins and apples so far. YUM)
1 cup whatever nuts/seeds you have laying around

dump in food processor, make little balls, refrigerate. Very yummy

As far as I know, they are not a walmart brand. She was saying she bought them there. I have seen them at Kings and Whole Foods. I cannot wait to try them!! Thanks for the review!

oh yea, I saw them and couldn't figure out why they were labeled "RAW"!! I LOVE the vegan & flax Organic food bars (100% raw) and I really like the fact that they put a raw % on their bars, but this new one is a disappointment....

for a real good chocolate raw bar the jocalat from lara bar is excellent, but again, not completely raw, but it also has the % listed!

Walmart won't even disclose to the public "where" they get their meats from.....so It does not surprise me that they are once again deceiving the public. They have also been caught labeling produce as organic when it isn't and they also quietly took several brands of pet foods off of shelves that were tainted and didn't inform the public. Walmart is right up there with the FDA in my opinion.

I really like Larabars. They seem all raw to me. Does anyone else like them? Even my husband loves them, and he is not all raw. And he is somewhat picky. Let me know who likes them. I love the cashew, the Lemon and the Lime :D
