Hi,

So I've been raw about a month and a half and I haven't noticed a significant weight loss. There have been a few occassion where i haven't eaten a raw meal, but they've been very, VERY rare. I've been eating more raw feed than i have my whole life. I'm starting to wonder if I am maybe not eating enough food, which is causing my body to not lose weight. My work is very physically active, so I'm wondering if my level of activity combined with not enough food is keeping me from losing weight.

I'm going to try and test is out this week. Eat more meals, more often, more greens, more protein.

Any comments?

Two words: green smoothies

Well, more then two words. It's only been 1.5 months. Give it time! Every BODY is different. Don't obsess with the weight elimination issue. It'll come off when it's ready. Your body is transitioning/healing, repairing. Let it do it's thing. And experiment around if you wish. That's fine too. I rarely weigh myself anymore. I go by my clothes and how they fit.
Be patient my dear, patient...

I agree with VFL......it hasn't been that long! I know what you mean though....they say patience is a virtue, but it's so hard when you feel like you're trying so hard, and doing so well, and you can't see the immediate results. But take it from me, it WILL come. I was in the same boat as you, when I started, and only recently has my weight started to go down. But my measurements are even more impressive, so you can't really go by what the scale says. Are you eating very low fat? I know we're not supposed to concern ourselves with ratios and such, but I find just a little fat helps move things along.....I try to aim for 30% of my diet comprised of fats....mostly flax/olive oil, and coconut oil. I try to limit nuts, because I have a problem with overindulging in them. I've also found that when I truly eat "growl to growl", I fare much better with the scale. But again, try not to focus on numbers.....I wish you all the luck! Keep us posted!
