I have a, for lack of a better word, deformity that causes my knees to out of alignment. This runs in my dad's side of the family. Everyone has knee trouble. I do believe in raw, but I don't think raw can correct a genetic bone deformity 33 years in the making, if ya know what I mean. I have very little cartilage left in my left knee. About 4.5 years ago I had my right knee done. I will need to have my left knee done at some point-but I am terrified of going under anesthesia after being raw for a year or 2 or more. Is there any available info on this? I also have toyed with the idea of a tummy tuck due to excess skin. My highest weight was 240+ during my last pg, 4 years ago. Last year when I got down to 143 my skin just hung everywhere. Excess skin + MAJOR stretch marks from 3 pg in 5 years (one was a twin pg!) Some are more than an INCH wide!!! I just look AWFUL. I would like to have these removed as they are a constant reminder of my past-my depression, my food addiction and my 100+ of excess sadness.

So, is there any SAFE way to undergo anesthesia?

I was put to sleep to have my wisdom teeth removed. Prior to being put under I had not eaten in 3 weeks. I was doing a fast. I wouldn't recommend that but when they told me nothing to eat or drink after midnight the day of the surgery It didn't bother me because I was doing the fast. I went under fast and I woke up okay and I was out and totally alert 10 mins after.

Thank you caliraw. I want to be honest so I will tell you that I was up to 169 3 weeks ago when I decided to go 100% raw once and for all. I now weigh 158 and am determined to get down to the 130s. I am totally 100% determined to do this. Raw is the only way to LIVE. I mean it. I will never go back. Nothing tastes as good as raw feels, right? :D
