if you are all raw? I am talking hypothetically here. If a body is detoxified from the raw food diet, would it be advantageous for a person to do oil pulling? I want simplicity in my life, but this seems to be a real drag. Plus I don't know if I really want oil in my mouth in the mornings, because I only eat fruit until noon. I don't swallow it of course, but I am sure some is absorbed. The science behind oil pulling seems a bit shaky. If you are doing oil pulling, will you keep doing it when you are totally detoxed?

Im not sure we are ever really TOTALLY DETOXed... unless we live in a bubble! There's a lot of stuff in the air, water, all kinds of stuff. But aside from all of that - the benefits of oil pulling goes far beyond just detoxing. I think it also helps to soften your skin, elbows, heels of your feet, it also strengthens your gums around your teeth, whitens your teeth, my complexion has even improved since I began oil pulling.
But every one of us finds our own path and what works for us! :D

Do you think it's a problem if you only oil pull for 10 minutes?
If you don't feel like doing it, just don't do it.
It isn't obligatory, nor are enemas and hydrocolon therapy, sauna, clay baths, detox patches, liver, kidney and other cleanses and what do you have. Those are means to speed up detox and help easying/minimizing detox symptoms. Just do (or don't) whatever fits you.
I feel that eating a very healthy diet is detoxing and healing enough for the body, but that sometimes, especially after 30+ years of non cooked meals, the body could use some extra help, for example if you're experiencing a lót of uncomfortable detox symptoms. In those periods it's good to know what means there are.
I do oil pulling, out of sheer curiosity. The whiter and especially healing teeth plus healthier gums that could be a result appealed to me the most. I'm willing to give it a try until the end of December, if I'm not seeing any results then, I'm going to stop doing it. I might try different oils. It isn't something I'd want to do áll of my life, by the way, but it all depends if it's really that fantastic a means, and I just figured: if I don't try it, I'll never know.

If you are not aware or experienced enough to recognize your bodys true signals I feel Oil Pulling is kinda silly. Learn to eat and live in a healthy manner and do it steadily for a good period of time and learn first. 9 out of 10 times, such techniques just slow the process even though people feel better due to the so called gradual rush it creates. I agree also about what someone said about never being Totally Detoxed in a Toxic world. :)
