if you eat 1 cooked meal a day, what percentage are you?
what about 1 cooked meal a week?
I hear people say they are 50%, 75%, or 95%. I don't know how they figure that.

according to most raw texts, it's by weight of food eaten.
But people use those %s in all sorts of different ways.
However there is some concensus in people using 99% raw to mean 100% raw FOOD but the occasional non raw spice or condiment.
It's all relative and not really accurate anyway, as cashews, almonds, etc., not being all that raw in general, and it's very subjective.
So I'd say don't worry about it! :p

the reason I asked is because of a survey I got today in an e-mail about what percentage raw do you eat, among other questions. It said if you eat 75% raw you were considered raw vegan.

even though i haven't been doing it very long and i've been pushing for 100%, i do it by how many sit downs of eating i've had. like if i literally eat 4 times one day and one of those meals/snacks was cooked, then i was 75% that day.
it's probably wrong but so far that's how i'm doing it....

If you are are doing well and are attaining good results with whatever you are eating, why get caught up in the percentages?! JMO ~ Cathy
