had a question. do any of you ever get a dull ache in your head (not actually a full on headache) when you are 100%? This seems to happen to me all the time. I'm drinking tons of water and gs's, but so far nothing is helping. any suggestions?

If you are new to raw, it could be you detoxing.
How long have you been 100%?

i've been 100% for about a week now, so not long. before that i was high raw. i assumed that it was detox, but i guess i am just so sick of it that i thought other people might have a solution.

My detox kicked in after about a week at 100%. Ohhhh what a headache I had. Borderline migraine and nausea. Lasted for about 3 days on and off and then I felt so much better. :) I'm betting it's detox... That's a good thing! It means your body is working hard to heal itself. :)

Yeah, depending on what you've been eating many things will cause issues when you stop eating them. Caffeine is a HUGE one. I was praying for death for about 3-4 days when I went raw. It was brutal. I never want to go through that again in my life. I was having the worst head aches ever and felt like I living in a haze.

I'm thinking that's what my main detox was from - BRUTAL! I sure was addicted to coffee.:(

Im so glad you posted this cos I've tried 100% raw 3 times in the last 6 weeks & each time given up cos of the mind fog & head pain, like someone has kicked me in the back of the head!!!
Ive stopped having caffeine, alcohol, nicotine & drugs(prescription & non prescription) in the last 4 years & didnt experience this kind of aching brain/head. I havent had green smoothies & thought it might be that but you are having same headaches whilst having smoothies.
Is it worth sticking at 100% til headaches stop or should a slower detox approach work better? Any thoughts greatly appreciated

I just went whole hog and was miserable for about a week all together. Now I'm doing so well, I can't believe it. I don't take anything for sleep or anxiety anymore and I was a slave to those two prescriptions. My ovarian cysts are shutting up finally and my blood pressure is way down. It's so worth the week of feeling crappy to just go for it!

To slow down detox is to prolong detox ~ YUK! Stick with it (if you can) and life will get easier. I also am free of sleep aids after over 10 years of not sleeping. Good luck.... :D

Do you have good elimination? Are you excercising and getting your heart rate up to help speed up the detox? You may want to use some kind of enema, colonic or fiber type thing to help you eliminate those toxins that are coming out. Even eating simply & sticking to mostly fruit will help it pass quicker.

I'm not exercising right now because I have zero energy and feel weak all the time, but I am eating fruit all day until dinner. I'm definitely going to wait it out and see what happens...staying raw is really important to me. will more sleep help?

i slept more and ate tons of smoothies (still do)
i try to eat a variety of thingsf (fruits, veggies, squashes, sprouts, nuts) each day so i can make sure that i am getting enough nutrients to keep plugin along. i get head fog when i am hungry now instead of it manifesting itself in hunger pangs.
