since going raw and experiencing so many different changes (physically, psychologically, intellectually) i honestly feel like a new, better person different than i ever was before. unlike other diets, this way of eating has changed so much more than my physical appearance. i feel so much cleaner, clearer, confident, positive, energetic, direct. i want to be my sincere honest self. no more hiding behind layers, facades, fluff. it's like i'm shedding some ugly smothering old skin. i've physically lost weight, have become more refined, defined but it also symbolizes so much internal change too. like a giant fog has been lifted.

Me too. I also feel like I'm finally FREE. Freedom! Freedom from being a slave to cooked processed "food" with chemicals & substances to keep me eating it and make me sick. I'm truly free. Thank God!

I feel incredible gratitude for finding this lifestyle and truly blessed. Not only for the real life giving living food that we were made/meant to eat, but for each and every one of you who are raw and here giving support! Thank you and bless you all!

Oh yes!! I am a brand new person. Since raw I feel more confident in my abilities to control my eating more than I use to because I used to be .. well sometimes still am an over eater. :o I leave the house knowing oh wow.. okay.. maybe I don't look super hot today but I have eaten so good that it is only a matter of time that I will achieve my goal! I like knowing my insides are healthy and happy and I don't feel the way I used to after eating something greasy you can almost feel the sludge running through your veins.
I was a chronic for gut rott and it's been so much better than It used to be! Most times I wake up refreshed and I get up a lot earlier than I used to.
Some days I have a bundle of energy when before I had none what's so ever to speak of. I feel less lethargic and I am in a happier mood. I have cheated before on my path to raw and on those cheat days I felt more gloomy. I don't know if it had to do with the non raw food intake or the fact that I knew I screwed up. :o I love being raw!!!

I find that now, instead of feeling angry and depressed a lot of the time, I'm finding beauty in my surroundings and humor in everything that happens

I feel compassion for all living things, a great sense of peace, much more confidence in myself, just an overall positive feeling 24/7 :)

I've been exploring and discovering myself. I used to be so self conscious, but now I'm so satisfied with being myself and if other people don't like it, then screw 'em! haha

I really love this lifestyle, I'm such a hippie!! :D

I'm almost at the end of my detox fasting and I just gotta say, before I even start eating raw, I already feel differet. I feel like I'm getting rid of all the junk in my body that I just don't need. I am going to fill all that empty space with good stuff. :)

I can't wait forthe day when I feel just like you guys. Like a whole new Jay Lee. :D

I am finally becoming the REAL ME. I used to see myself as "the daughter of an alcoholic" or "food addict" or "mom of autistic twins", etc. All these negative things gave me my identity.

Now I am just ME.

"Zaphirah Bat Lael Sunflower" -which means "Victorious Daughter of the Lord, the One who Keeps Her Face To the Sun"

Maybe I should change it legally? :D

I definitely feel like a new person! I have more energy, am more even-tempered, hightened intuition, greater sense of self-I-am-supposed-to-be, more certain of what I am here to do with my life (Yep! Raw is a big part of it!), clearer-headed.... I suppose if I thought of it more I could come up with a ton of reasons that I feel "new", but at least the inside & the outside are in agreement now! :D

I have noticed that I do not worry as much, and waves of fear are not nearly as powerful either. I had read before that 'worriers' are magnesium deficient.

It is truly amazing what raw can do! Since going raw I have healed from chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, IBS and several other health problems.

I've also become much calmer, more patient and more relaxed.

The most significant change is how much happier and full of joy I am. I have moments of pure bliss that come out of nowhere. It is truly amazing and I feel deeply, deeply blessed to have been given the opportunity to experience what life is really supposed to be like.

Blessings,

Audrey
