Pumpkin Seeds and dried fruit

I want to make a dessert combining pumpkin seeds with dried fruit. Does anyone have a recommendation of dried fruits besides raisins and dates that taste good with pumpkin seeds?

How about apricots/peaches or bananas? EVERYTHING to me goes good with bananas!!

Goji berries go well with everything. Dried cherries? Dried blueberries?

I've been making the Date nut torte but using 1/2 pumpkin seeds and hemp seed mixed with the walnuts. Also using prunes in replacement of raisins. The pumpkin seed add an extra crunch.

another vote for apricot. LOVE raw pumpkin seeds with dried apricot. mmmmm.

i also love finely chopped prunes. (with banana and celery and sunflower seeds).

Yeah, apricot came immediately to my mind, even though I cannot really imagine how they'd taste together. I just read the question and a little dried apricot flashed in my brain!

Now, has anyone gotten the pumpkin seeds to actually sprout with a tail?


Also, any good recommendations for sun-dried prunes that aren't pitted (pitting involves steaming)?
