HI everyone!

I hope every one is doing well on there journeys, I have been purdy busy since school started......but I finally got my dehydrator this week!
so I have been experimenting with it, made some delicious 'caramelized' onions.....

moving on to the point :)

well I have been looking for some buckwheat to buy and no where do I see raw.....I see hullless, with hulls, groats and something about 'for sprouting buckwheat lettuce' lol what is that?

I have been to a few sites and no luck, does any one have a sight they use or know what kind of buckwheat I need to be buying?

thank you sooo much :D

Glad you ask cuz i want to know too! This all seems so easy when you know how. I'll be watching for a reply. Then what RU going to do with it?

I just got a 25 pound bag I special ordered my local health food store. Hoarding raw food for a rainy day..... I mostly plan on sprouting it, dehydrating it for cereal.

I find buckwheat to be very sour when I sprout it and pulp it then dehydrate it.
Wheat berries are also quite bitter, but not in the same way as buckwheat.
Sometimes I think the buckwheat has 'gone off'.
anyone else think this?

you could call around to health food stores until you find it if you don't want to order... you're after the buckwheat groats, the pale colored ones, not the roasted kashi ones, and not the ones that are almost black with the hull still on them. But you probably know that;)
