Hi, I'm Amanda....so far I've been a lurker here on the forum, and I've learned a lot... I just have a little concern. I've been mostly raw since 9/08, and feeling great. I had my last period end on August 12th. We have been "not trying but not preventing" to have a baby since my last period,....I've taken a few tests but they all come out negative. Does anyone know of any natural herbs/remedies to regulate periods? I don't want to go to my regular doctor because she'll just put me on BC to regulate them,...and they really messed me up before.

You say "mostly" raw... go 100% and see what happens. Might consider yoga and/or qigong as well.

Chastetree is a natural herb that regulates your hormones, in whatever way your body needs. My Naturopath put me on it for that very reason, my cycle was all over the map. Three months later, we "tried" and I got pregnant right away.

Rawamanda - you may not want to hear this, but go see your doctor to rule out any other potential problems. I work with women all the time who test negative even though they are late - quite late. The only 100% accurate pregnancy test is a blood test, I don't care what the package on the pee test says. Also, for some women, HCG does not spill into their urine. They could be 6 months pregnant and still test negative with a pee test.

Your doctor can recommend taking the pill but cannot force you to actually take it. No doctor can force any treatment on you, unless you let him or her.

Thanks for all of your help. I'll look into getting chaste tree and I'll make an appointment to go see my doctor...Maybe she'll recommend something holistic:)

catdaveer- You are right about her not being able to force anything on me.

Thanks again! -Amanda

Hi, I read your post and was very interested in trying Chastetree. My husband and I have been married for 12 years now and haven't gotten pregnant yet. After I read this I started looking online for versions of Chastetree, but it got so overwhelming. I was just wondering, may I ask you which brand you took and did you have any side effects?

Thanks!

It could be normal. I have heard woman that they period stopped while on raw food. I don't think this is permanent but i have heard of this.

Stick with raw food and consider 100% raw food. Look into herbs that promote glandular health. Pituitary has a great deal effect on woman reproductive system.

Cleanse and cleanse. Trust your body, it will heal and if i was you, i wouldn't try to force anything. Try 100% fruits for a while (organic ripe fruits such water melon, grape, berries or citrus). They are purging and very cleansing.

After the fruit fast, you can consider a juice fast and even water fast (read about water fast on how to brake it and to do this safely).

I am not a doctor please research

All the best!
