Peace to everyone,

I was wondering if there were any special herbs (or anything else for that matter) that could be used to deal with the effects of eating a cooked meal..?? for instance when the situation couldn't be avoided, like going out to eat with family or not being able to get access to a health food store for a short period of time. I'm sure situations like this happen a lot to raw foodists. Its as simple as looking at how easy it is to access a cooked meal as opposed to a raw meal.
I mean, being 100% raw, i feel that if u were to have ONE or maybe even 2 cooked meals out of the ordinary that it shouldn't be that much cause for panic, but i was curious as to whether or not there may be any herbs that can help deal with some of the possible internal digestive effects that can result.

As always, any feedback is very well appreciated

PEACE

Never used them but I do know that Garden of Life sells some digestive enzymes that you would take prior to (i think) a cooked meal. I can't think of the name of the enzymes (the marketing name that is) but their website should be able to guide you.

ok, they are called poten-zyme.

this place says that they are really cheap: http://win-edge.com/GardenofLife.shtml?PHPSESSID=44dcf0ae36021906db7b0 537fe8a96e1

also, check ebay. i have seen garden of life stuff on there before (just do some price comparisons). you will pay alot more if you get it at whole foods though.

there is "lypo" and "gastro" by enzometica -they are vegan enzymes that help with fat and heavier foods ,also ginger would help ,just chew on the root or make some tea...

also when your out try to order a salad -even w/sad dressing and toppers its still better than other options...
