Does anyone or has anyone else ever tried to just consume fresh fruits and fresh green and fruit juices in the morning and up until dinner time?
I have hypoglycemia and I was always told to eat a big breakfast with lots of protein and same with lunch and to snack every few hours but I'm finding that I do better not snacking as much and only eating fruits and green juices.
I've been noticing that I'm actually less hungry when I do this and I look forward to what I can eat later in the day knowing how clean I have been the entire day, it gives my digestion a break from so much bloating, etc.
I've been jucing my greens every morning and find that I am more satisfied by the jucies rather than the smoothies, which is odd because the smoothies have fiber... sometimes I notice that the green smoothies actually set me off and make me more hungry.

I absolutely feel so much better on green juices also! i couldn't figure it out either...
I don't quite have hypoglycemia, yet I have some of the symptoms due to an adrenal disorder (so my glucose level goes wacky often)...and I have high insulin...so with these two combined one would think that juices wouldn't work for me, but its definitely the opposite. I usually have a green juice made from chard, celery, apples, ginger, lemon and sometimes cukes - usually about 24 oz. and have it in divided portions. Then I'll make a fruit one - usually melon or strawberry, romaine, etc...
So for the past week I've been doing this - juice fasting until dinner or if I'm hungry in the afternoon I'll have some fruit. And let me tell you - by the time dinner rolls around I am far from ravenous, I have a small amount of food (or even almond butter on apple - last night :o ) and I'm done. and I notice my digestion is soo much better for it  hate to be blunt but I actually have a BM every day now instead of every other (if even!)

I am also hypoglycemic and was worried about eating too much fruit and having my blood sugar go crazy. I have been pleasantly surprised that it has been great....better than when I was SAD. I usually have a fruit smoothie and juices in the morning and until about 4-5 in the afternonn, that is when I start to feel hungry for something more substantial.

I felt the same way until I started adding young coconut meat and chia to my smoothies and now I can go several hours without feeling hungry. This morning I had one at 6:30 AM and didn't feel hungry until 1:00 PM.

That is the way I do it most days for two years now. I will sometimes have my first meal in late afternoon or dinner. I started this 2 years ago when I went Raw. When I eat Breakfast, say 9 am, I am hungry all day !!! Today I have only had liquids and I am not at all hungry.

I will try to juice and smoothie for breakfast and lunch and then have a solid dinner. Starting tomorrow!

You could add coconut or flaxseed oil in your juices and smoothies to give you some fat so you won't be hungry.
