It's simple but quite tasty. I had leftover shredded veggies(zucchini, carrots, beets, gr. cabbage) from another recipe and I couldn't figure out what to do with them.
Then it hit me! I was driving home and I was HUNGRY. I couldn't wait to get home to shred some zucchini pasta to go with Alissa's marinara that was in the fridge. When I got there I was about to pull out a zucchini when I noticed the shredded veggies pleading to be eaten.
So...
I tossed some in a bowl with the marinara and a bit of macadamia cheese sauce and wow YUM!
note: my marinara has traditional italian spices added in as well.
the cheese sauce:
1 cup macadamia nuts or cashew if you prefer
the juice from half a small lemon
1 clove of garlic(add more if you want)
1 Tbs unpasturized miso or sea salt to taste or nama shoyu
water- enough to make the mixture the consistency you prefer
Blend in blender
it was easy and delicious:O)
