I just started my liver flush about an hour ago I did the salt water flush becuase i didnt want to do an enema, however about ten minutes after drinking the salt water I began to throw up, it says that I should do one of these flushes once a day for four days. Help, is this suppose to happen?

Not necessarily but, salt water is an emetic so, not surprising.

Try using less salt. I believe the point is to get the water to flush through you, not out of you. You may have just had an improper balance. Good luck!

I had a friend who would also throw up and could not do the salt but she was using iodized regular store salt. When she tried a natural minimally processed sea salt she was much better able to handle drinking the salt water.
Good luck

Maybe your dehydrated and your body is like WHOA... your not going to put this much salt water into me are you nuts?? I think most people are dehydrated and don't even know it. :) They say if you take your arm and gently pinch the skin.. the more wrinkles you see the more dehydrated you are.. hydrated skin is said to not crape as much.

I'm new to this but I didn't think an enema was meant to cleanse the liver... I thought it was just for the colon/bowels, am I missing something? I'm in favor of not doing an enema when I start my fast as well so please let me know if this is a good substitute!

Thanks.
