Is Miso gluten free?

some is definitely not, for example there is barley miso, miso from various grains. brown rice miso, etc., in addition to soy miso. So you would have to check especially if you have celiac or are gluten intolerant.

what about the white miso that AC uses in some recipes?

i'm trying to avoid grains but i use miso bc the amount i use in recipes is very very small. but i guess if u have a disease where you absolutely can't have them then miso could be a problem?

Depends on what it is made of. I believe the chickpea miso I bought is GF.
