libido? *blush*. I always feel, um, well, frisky after eating cacao. I thought it was maca that was supposed to make me feel this way?

Chocolate has been used as an aphrodisiac for a very long time. Originally it was served straight up and not sweetened at all.

Yep, cacao does that too! By the way, Zaphira, I visited your blog and I love the picture at the top. Very cool!

aww, thanks. An online friend sent it to me. It perfectly depicts how I see ME. The young, evangelical me. Not this old chubby stretch-marked me. Even tho it's a simple shot-it really depicts how I see the world. I'd love to be able to give credit to whomever shot it. It's also my desktop background, and my screen saver is Mark 5:34 "Daughter, your Faith has healed you.Go in Peace and be freed from your suffering. " I believe that God created raw foods for us to live 150 years on. and I plan to obey! :D

I am a photographer and I look at alot of photos online and I have never seen one quite like that! I believe the same about God and raw foods. I prayed hard for wisdom to do the right thing when my son had cancer and God led me to nutrition and raw foods and it has changed my life (and my families lives!) and given me hope!

AMEN! AMEN! I have been healing my 2 autistic dc with diet (tho not totally raw). They are gf/cf. Just last week i asked if they would be willing to try an experiment and go raw for a few weeks and see if we can decrease or eliminate their meds. they said they would be willing, but not right now. I hope in a few more years that they go raw on their own. For 9 they really understand the power of food (both good and bad) and have been very compliant with the gf/cf for almost 2 years now. That's so wonderful to hear about your success. Do you have a testimony anywhere online?

I do have a website for my son, which is www.caringbridge.org/mi/cooper. My kids are not 100% raw, but probably 75%. They are vegan. They love raw food, but I don't know if I am ready to switch them over 100% at this point. I feel they are doing it slowly on their own!

I make "pudding" with grated coconut oil from the fridge, cacao powder, and agave. It's like eating thick fudge. It's SO good. I can only eat about 3-4 T-and then I'm full.
