please . . . .
I bought this dehydrator from Walmart. I tried to make crackers. I spent 4 hours soaking the seeds.....my dehydrator "shelves" are full of holes... (that's just the pattern on them)...and so I used wax paper on top to put the flax mixture on. Of course, the paper got "cooked" right into the mixture hours later. . . . so it was all garbage.
Does anyone know how I could rectify this? I'm not purchasing any other equiment etc., so please offer a "home remedy"

Does your "D" have a temperature gauge? Are you sure it's not too hot?

If you can't find parchment (should be able to), get some teflex sheets and cut to fit. Parchment is disposable, teflex is re-usable.
