I have read lots of threads and things about hair after raw.
Does anyone have any first hand experience with thin hair getting thicker?
Especially Men...any good stories I can tell my son.
What foods are especially good in this area?

my hair is quite long (like to my waist almost) and since going raw it looks a lot silkier and healthier. i've always had very thick hair so i haven't really noticed a difference with that. it doesn't get dry as easily now but at the same time its a lot less oily. more balanced i suppose.

I have been 90% raw since 8/7/07. I have never recieved so many compliments on my hair in such a short amount of time by men (men notice imagine that) and women alike, people I know, people I don't know. People are definitely noticing. The last couple of years it was falling out alot due to a fibroid I was dealing with...it was really concerning me. Doesn't concern me anymore. Apparently, it's becoming one of my better features. Oh and funny enough the other night in the raw HA HA my boyfriend couldn't believe how soft my hair was. He kept complimenting me over and over. I told him it's because I've been eating so healthy.

But if it is hair we're talking about here... than I'll take a ride on that and tell about my progress :) If you don't mind...
:o
Since I've started raw for the first month I had a really bad hair loss... but now ( about 2 1/2 months into raw) It seems to get much much better... loosing less hair... and it also got more healthier and thicker :)
I found out that if you wash your hair with water in which you "cooked" a bit some rosemary it stops almost imidiatlly the hair loss and gives you a thicker and healthier- and much better smelling hair ^_^
It's actually an old way of washing hair here at the Beduins tribes..
I believe their ways of living is much more natural to ours... so I try to find lots of hints and ideas out of there :P
for your question....
I beliebe someone mentioned green smoothies ;)

Hi there River girl :)
They say you make a "herb tea" (well basiclly just warm it up in some nice water and let it sit for a while) and
yes just rinse your hair with it...
makes it silky to touch in my and my bf's opinion and smells soooo goooood
^_^
Good luck

I have waist length hair and I only wash it 2x a week. on the days I don't wash it, I put a few drops of lavender oil rub it between my hands and down the length of my hair. It smells wonderful and makes it super shinny.:p
