I contracted Bells Palsy back during the middle of April (2007) and was told there was nothing that I could do about it. I took the drugs they prescribed me and hoped for the best. 5 months later I am still waiting for my face to recover. It has come back some but nowhere near what it used to be.

Lately though, it has started to regress. The timing is questionable because I am now going into Phase 4 of the Ejuva cleanse (www.ejuva.com) and everything I have read about a detox is that old wounds may reopen. Has anyone experienced anything related to this before? Has anyone had Bells Palsy and can share some insight on the healing process. I have to hope and believe that things will get better and my face will improve but as time goes on with little to no improvement it gets harder and harder to TRULY believe it will happen.

I have treated bells palsy very succesfully with acupuncture. 5 months later will make it harder...the sooner you get treated the higher the success rate but my patients have had 100% recovery.

just a thought-
bought you might want to research lyme disease and co-infections of it,
that is a symptom of that
