Cause of Detox Headache?

Can someone please tell me what the actual cause of a detox headache is? What is happening to my body to cause this?

I'm not entirely sure, but I know having a colon cleanse completely stopped mine, so my guess is it has something to do with all the toxins and waste stirred up that your body doesn't have the strength to get rid of all at once. As you lessen the toxic load going into your body, it will eventually manage to take all the garbage out :)

I can expect a headache each time I detox. I always thought it was because I have had them ALL of my life. I figured that was the first thing the detox was cleaning out. I've also always had sinus and allergy issues. So I just assumed it was all related. Usually in a few days it's gone, but it's very hard not to take something!
