I just made Alissa's meatloaf. I was going to do it the "right" way with a tomato sauce or gravy yet, I was munching on it before getting it to the dehydrator. Bo tried some and said it could be wrapped in lettuce. Guess what we're going to do? VERY good for folk with no dehydrator.

Suggestion: Unless you have super big food processor, grind the nuts as specified, then put them in a very large bowl. Put the rest of the ingredients in the same bowl. Then put it in the processor in a couple of batches. I have an 11-C and it was wayyyyyy too much for it.

Oh! btw, I didn't have poultry seasoning so I used Mexican seasoning. It's soooo good!!!!

Mmm, meatloaf! I also just made meatloaf, but Juliano's and it's my favorite! (haven't tried Allissa's though, I still have to get her book, lots of people have mentioned it on this site very favorably)

I actually never shape it into meatloaf shape anymore, I make patties and freeze them, very easy to take out small portions at a time. I ususally use the meatloaf crumbled in cabbage tacos or tostadas. YUMMY!! :D

Yes, Juliano's is pretty good. I make it often, but follow it loosely. I will substitute any kind of nuts and any kind of greens. (It basically comes down to what is in the house!)
