ok, so it has been about 2 months for me back to my veggie ways after a few years of eating meat. Right now the bulk of my protein comes from nuts and seeds but I thrive best on a HIGH PROTEIN diet.......not a HIGH FAT diet.
I am committed to staying veggie but seriously.....has anyone solved this..

i am using spirulina as well....but I need like60-80 grams a day

Do you use any protein powders? I use hemp protein powder by living harvest, and it's raw. I'm not sure about any other sources......other than greens and blue/green algae.

Alissa has an excellent Protein sticky in the Need to Know More About Raw forum you might want to check out. Simply put, it is amino acids that create protein in the body, and the best source of amino acids is leafy green veggies. ~ Cathy

I just found out lentil sprouts are good source of protein and they're easy to grow. Also Greens, greens, greens.

I also love the Living Harvest hemp shake, that and Vega are my two faves. I think you probably know your body best, some people do better with higher amounts of protein, some with higher fat, etc. Listen to you body, it'll tell you what it wants.

Greens are WAY better for protein. I remember my muscles only felt tight (really hard when flexed)after 1 solid month of workouts. Man I have not been to the gym all summer and my muscles are EXTREMELY solid and rock hard since going raw. no working out ! and I am stronger too WAY stronger still with no working out. Heck I cant wait till the gym down the road finally opens so I can see just how awesome raw power is.

Oh and I was a power lifter all my life! All I knew was protein....

our bodies use amino acids to make protein right... well avocados have all the essential amino acids.. i don't know if that's relevant but i thought it'd make sence hehe
