Hello,

I am new here and just started the rawfood diet. Today is day 3. I would like to loose about 20lbs, have glowing, vibrant skin and up my energy and improve my overall health.

I have been drink the green smoothies every morning. My receipe is
3 - 4 leaves of Kale.
about a 1/4 cup of parsley and cilantro,
handful of blue berries,
sprinkle of kelp
sprinkle of MSM.

Each morning prior to the smoothie I drink a glass of hot lemon water.

Bananas give me awful gas and bloating so I don't use those in my smoothie. All three days I have had awful gas and constipation. I hate to stop drinking the smoothie but what gives?

you should cut back on the quantity of greens, start off with greens that are easier to digest. like lettuces, then start adding others in. but i would avoid all of the heavy green such as kale, collards, chard, etc, if you are just start out.

Hmm? What else are you eating? You may want to do as Alissa suggests and keep a food journal B/L/D/S, weight, detox symptoms, moods, etc.
It may help you to better track your symptoms.

There is a tea called smooth move which can be cold brewed which will, um get things moving gently when sipped just before bedtime.

I didn't drink it today. I am on my way to supersalads for lunch. I'll pick up the romaine lettuce for my smoothie.

I just had a colonic today and my gas has dissipated. Will go for several more sessions and see if these results continue. It just makes you feel better and cleaner on the inside.
