Hi there everyone

My sister has just come down with severe glandular fever (mono, gland etc etc)

She is in absolutely horrible condition, the poor thing. Her skin is allllll red all over and scabby and has these bubbly things and itchy and disgusting. She is unable to move a muscle, a joint. Everything is stiff.

What raw-remedy am I able to help her with?

Any suggestions anybody?

I really hope to hear from you,

Lena

What I suggest is something you don't wanna hear.

Get her to the doctor, pronto!! This sounds like a real emergency and I wouldn't wait a second longer...

In the meantime, make sure she is drinking fluids and losts of rest.

Much luck.

Exactly. GET HER TO A DOCTOR! IMMEDIATELY!!! This sounds like something my sister had years ago when she was in her late teens. She became so ill. All of her skin just kept peeling off of her body and her system had become resistant to most antibiotics. She ended up being very sick for a very very long time.:(

Oh man. Just to keep you posted, she has been in hospital for a few days now and is in exactly the same condition. The doctors are STILL doing tests and are giving her all these bloody drugs of god-knows-what.
I keep bringing her chopped fruit and veggies (it's the only thing she'll eat, all that hospital food is just mush).

We'll see how she is tomorrow!

Hey MommyB! Thanks for the message.

She JUST got out actually, but is still in horrid condition. They're not quite sure what it is. They are suspecting rheumatoid arthritis, and that really get's to me because she is only 17.

I hope she's going to be okay. Good news is that I gave her raw (cold pressed), organic coconut oil to chuck on her rash, and the results were amazing. That stuff is magic.

I used also raw coconut oil for the skin, wonderful and works marvelous. I use this also for my baby's bum, and it works

Glad to see that your sister is doing better. It seems that the toxins are coming out from the skin.

Sometime our emotions can do this. Not being comfortable in our skin etc...

Physically, i read that if you don't consume enough fiber, the toxin will come out through our skin

I would suggest for her to eat more fibers (psyllium) and to do some sort of relaxing exercise (either deep breath, yoga, walk in nature, etc....)

Blessings

Thank you very very much for your help.

I wanted to ask, would giving her too much fruit be bad?

Oh my gosh! Your poor sister! Arthritis in a 17 yo? Is that even possible? I t hink I would search out a second opinion but that's just me.

I certainly hope she gets to feeling better soon. Is there any change at all? Any improvement?

Wish I had some helpful advice but I don't. Sorry sweety.

We've been to three local doctors and two hospitals. All are getting at the same thing. Her symptoms are still the same: very bad rash, very high temperature, itchiness, stiff joints. Anything herbal/vegetable/raw to help any of these symptoms would be great!

The only thing I can think of would be MSM and MSM lotion. BUT I would check with someone who knows more about it like at an herb shop or Whole Foods or something.

Also, (this is just if it were me) I would seek out a homeopathic doctor. He/she would be more open to natural cures of course.

Oh dude! I didn't even think of that! What a good idea. Thank you
