What is carbonated water.

The label says it is from a natural source under the springs. Do you know what that means.

I'm watching too cuz it's a fun thing for me to have for "Happy Hour" Which we have at our House ALMOST daily. No one in our family drinks alcohol but we like to have a little relaxing time when we get home from work. My kids fave...Cranberry Juice, Cheese and crackers. I'm trying to replace that. Today we had Alissas bean dip and flax crackers. Hubby liked it.

I'm looking for a fun beverage (BESIDES GREEN SMOOTHIE...SORRY).

We've all ready had at least one for the day and were ready for something quick and EASY!

when I used to work at starbucks I vaguely remember a conversation or two we had about carbonated water and I am pretty sure it is water that has literally been carbonated, gas was actually added to it. We would make Italian sodas with the carbonated water raspberry, vanilla ect

hope that helps :D

plus you can always google it!

I could be wrong, but I think it is CO2 that they charge it with, which is carbon dioxide--the air we exhale as waste. I gave up carbonated beverages years ago because of this fact. Why put back in waste that your body just got rid of was my reasoning.

Hope this helped.

Indeed, Perrier is natural spring water with carbone dioxide (CO2) added to it.

Years ago my cousins used to have a small home machine that would make all kinds of pop, like orange crush, rootbeer, 7up,... All they did is attached a bottle of flavored syrup of choice and the CO2 bottle to the machine and then press a button to fill the glass, just like we see in fast food chains.

I personally agree with Lady Green Jeans that there is no use in ingesting more CO2, we actually all need more oxygen (O2)!! This is also why exercice is so important; to increase your O2 vs CO2 ratio. Oxygenated body cells is what makes you feel good, healthy and vibrant! We can get more oxygen in our body by breathing more deeply, exercising and eating raw whole food.

Furthermore, the ingestion of CO2 impairs our digestion. This is why it feels so good to let out a burp when you drink too much of a carbonated beverage!

For river girl, who is looking for something easy and sure to be fun, here is a beverage for you to impress your friends and children with:

A Simple Cranberry/Orange layered juice! Here's the twist:

The Cranberry and Orange juice most both be cold.

Pour Cranberry juice in a glass to the half and add ice cubes to it.
You may want to let it stand just a minute or 2 for better chances of success.
Then, VERY GENTLY, pour Orange juice on top of it to fill the glass.
You should now have a very fancy and beautiful 2 color surimposed Cran-Orange drink! :D Now, THAT is fun!!!

I have always done it with Orange juice with pulp. It tastes great and adds fiber and nutrition to it. Not sure if OJ without pulp would sit just as well. The ice cubes are optional but help keeping the drink cool. It's amazing, the layers remain even when you drink from it!

Fun! Fun! Fun! Someone drinking Perrier will never get the attention the one sipping that drink has! Guarantee! :p

I don't know....some could be natural....

Obviously soda water they use in bars and such is man made, but i don't know about the more expensive waters you can buy...

I live in Colorado and the town next to me, Manitou Springs has 7 natural springs, and they are all carbonated. It is customary to fill jugs with it and go home and make lemonade with the "fizzy" water, it tastes great and its loaded with minerals!!

The town was actually built around them during the TB outbreaks, they thought it was healing.

I drink Gerolsteiner and Apollinaris brand sparkling water. They are both from Germany and from what I understand is naturally sparkling (not man made).

I'm gonng go with the natrual cuz that's what it says on the bottle.

Most if not all bottled juices is not raw because its pasteurized.

It is true sbaker that some carbonated water occurs naturally in nature. It is quite an amazing planet we live on! Some companies will find a natural source and bottle it but for the most part carbonated bottled beverages found on the markets are man made. It is a lot cheaper for them to produce.

We also have to remind ourself that the fact that certain things occur naturally in nature does not always mean it is good for us! There are plenty of plants and fruits that are also poisonous out there. This is why we have to use our discernement and intuition to find out wether one thing is good for us or not, just like Lady Green Jeans reasoned for herself and it also resonates with me.

Not everyone is the same and what is good for you might not be good for someone else and vice versa.

For many people, a diet of cooked food without too much excess is what works for them and because they believe it, they may live a very healthy life into old age. For me, a raw food diet is what works and I keep refining it over the years without sweating the small stuff. I believe this will keep me healthy and one day reach old age with tons of lines on my face and people will look at me and wonder what is it about me that makes me such a beautiful person!...;)

What worked for me was to use bottled organic cranberry juice. It was pasteurized. (barose, I found out that about 98% of all juices sold in the US and Canada are pasteurized and more than 99% in the UK!) I have ordered a juicer a week ago and I am looking forward to receive it to finally make my own fresh organic cranberry juice! Yay!

I did not know about the name sun rise and sun set! That's funny! My friend & I were just mixing juices together one time for the sake of variety and suddenly one ramained on top of the other and we thought we had created something new! We then observed the conditions that made it work. Obviously this was not our invention  and other friends had seen it before but it was something we discovered by ourselves and I did not know it's name!
