Hi, Making Almond milk with Alissa's recipe it says 1cup sprouted, I wonder if it was suppose to say soaked. Can almonds be sprouted? Maybe a dumb question, i'm new to this just a week in. I made the milk with the soaked almonds and put them through a cheesecloth I'm pleased with the result. Two more questions if you can sprout them is that better and what do you do with pulp? Thanks, EarthLady

Some people say they've seen almonds sprout. Other than in the shell, I've not. Some also say, sprouted when they soak. *shrugs* I dunno. I've not seen one sprout. I think this came up on one of our shows and Alissa said they do grow lil bitty tails if memory serves me.

Anyone else?

Thanks Revvell, I must of had a senior moment, dah, I went to Alissa's book and the section on sprouting and the chart on 278 shows soaking and sprouting times, there's nothing in the sprouting time column only soaking. Yeah mystery solved! HAGD, EarthLady
