I've always had really bad headaches. There've been a small number of times I've had migraines so I've never gone to the doctor for them. I've always had chroni neck and shoulder pain which obviously leads to chronic headaches.
For the last 5 months I've mysteriously not had them that much. New job. BUT now that stress of this job is starting to be the same as the stress of my last job. No headaches yet, but I'm so terrified of having any sort of headaches again during detox and b/c of detox.
What can I do to keep them at bay? I just read that someone who has been raw for 17 days has almost had a headache everyday. :(

Drink LOTS of water, get those greens in and for ME, personally, enemas did the trick for helping with moving "stuff" out of the bowels in my earlier days of raw. I, too, used to suffer chronic headaches before going raw with migraines creeping in every so often.
When I first went raw, I did have slight headaches but nothing unbearable and they were actually pretty mild compared to the ones I had before I went raw. But again, I'd do enemas and most times, those would help tremendously! But try not to fear detox...it's nothing to fear because it only signifies that your body is cleaning house. Usually, when one experiences severe detox symptoms, it's because the toxins are not evacuating the body quickly enough. You can sometimes "help that along" by doing some bowel cleansing either via enemas, colonics or even herbal colon cleanse products (do your research on ALL of the named suggestions) OR you can drink plenty of green smoothies since the fiber will also help sweep things along or just eat lots of fruit, especially apples and perhaps consider flax seeds or flax oil...anything that is safe that YOU feel comfortable with that helps you "move". Oh...and exercise too!

I'll keep those in mind. I have a box of enema's when the time comes. So I'm prepared there. I hope everything goes okay. thanks for the info.

Call me crazy but I love detox symptoms. It makes me feel like what I am doing is actually working. My body has a lot of cleaning out to do. I worry when I don't feel something going on.;)
