So guys I know I haven't been on in a while, but I've returned to school. (AWESOME!) Anyways, I'm having a huge problem with food, I cannot find anything raw in school but everyday fruits and I was wondering what would be great to have in the dorms, I do have a fridge however, but I need things that aren't weird to eat around my friends and stuff. =]
I was thinking like guacamole and celery sticks, some Kombucha, lots of fruit, except I don't digest nuts.
Any suggestions??
Please, I cannot starve this year, or fill myself up with apples.

Priscila,
It wouldn't be 100% but how about getting tortillias and making wraps with whatever good raw filling you like. If you can put a dehydrator in your room then you could make the wraps also.
Salad of course.
Dips and veggies.
Can you have a blender, then you could make smoothies.

I bet if you ask around campus there are other raw foodies out there to get together with.
Don"t worry about what others think just give them a taste of what you're eating and they'll see how good it is.
Have fun and don't stress out about it, being in school is stressful enough.
Have a great school year, all the best.

Unless you eat what cooked food eaters eat, you will always stand out, no matter what. They will notice you eat alot of veggies, fruit, ect.

personally, I wouldn't care what people thought about what I ate. Gotta kinda get over that:rolleyes: ;)

If they say something, you could then teach them about raw foods.

If I were you, I would stock up on raw trail mixes, Lara bars or something similar, Ready~To~Eat veggies and dip, stuff like that.

The more you walk in truth,
the more alone you go.

You also have a huge font there.:D

Just eat what do you have to eat. It doesn't matter if it looks weird to your friends the important thing is you fill your stomach with not just an apple.

:D I travel a lot and sometimes stay in a hotel room for several days. Often they have a small dorm type fridge...I usually stop at some store to pick up some fruits and veggies before I check in.

I am contemplating the purchase of one of those small individual "bullet-type" blenders to carry with me in my suitcase for green smoothies.

I have already purchased a travel accessory kit with empty plastic containers and filled the bottles with olive oil, agave, apple cider vinegar, nama shoyu, maca, hemp protein.

With a small bullet blender and travelling food kit, I could make green smoothies, wherever I am...
