Hello my name is Lasha I am 30 years old. I tried going raw quite a while ago but never have the willpower( with cooking for my family all day long). I started before because I was diagnosed with hypertension. This was odd to the docs because I was supose to be is such great health (according to all the tests I took). Well I think I figured out the problem( without the help of my doctors) but I am quite positive my kidnies are failing. You see My blood pressure can be 120/110 which gives me incredible chest pain( and more recently left arm pain). I have hit rock botton ( which is good because I should stick to this now). I am hopping to prolong my life ( I have 2 small children) at the least and at the best I hope to cure myself.
Anyone else out there have success in eating raw with kidney proplems?

Have you had any Blood Work done? Your kidney out put will show up in a mere Blood Test. Have you considered you just might be Stressed?
RAW will work for EVERYTHING.......But don't Rush on Kidney Failure. You are also SMART to Break the Family Curses. We don't have to go the route of our ForeFathers.........
I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW........Welcome to MY World.

Hi Lasha, and welcome to RFT!! A lot of things can cause hypertension (ie stress, genetics, excess weight, inactivity, smoking, family history, too much salt in your diet, etc), so wouldn't worry about the possibility of kidney failure just yet. Raw is very healing, and I am wishing you much success on your journey ~ Cathy

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!! I'm so sorry you have kidney problems. I have in the past suffered greatly with kidney problems(but not to the point that you have I'm sure).
I am on my 6th month raw now - and other than the occassional detox symptoms... that caused my kidneys some pain -- I haven't had any problems and I believe that I have also received healing and rebuilding in my kidneys since going raw.
blessings on your journey --- I truly believe we will be hearing a wonderful testimony from you if you really stick with the raw lifestyle...
