hi!

i am wondering whether we should eat more fruits or vegetables?

i heard too much fruit is bad? i sort of touched on this topic earlier posts! but i didn't cite anything! ' vegetables and fruits-are carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are merely different forms of simple sugars linked together in polymers-something like edible plastic.'

he talks about all carbs aren't too good !!!!!!!!!! 'Low-calorie, high-carbohydrate diets generate a series of biochemical signals in your body that will take you out of the balance, making it more difficult to access stored body fat for energy. '

sorry for causing such havoc on this board, i realised ! i really hven't been involved in boards myself, i am getting use to it! thanks for putting up with me. and sincere thanks to everyone that welcomed me . i am honestly wanting to gain more knowledge about this lifestyle and hope you guys can help me.

- thank - you truely

Lily, I cannot speak for every person. My body does very well on close to a 50 - 50 combination of fruits and vegetables. Other people, say they do great on more fruit. Then others say greens greens greens.

You will need to try this out on your own and listen to what your body says. Perhaps after your 30 day challenge of eating anything that is raw, you can make 2 weeks for all vegetables, then 2 weeks of only fruit, then 2 weeks of a particular combination that you like. Listen to your body, it answers, but we don't always listen well enough!

Blessings.

I think most people do better on mostly fruit (fresh fruit, that is, not dried fruit!) But if you have blood sugar/insulin issues (like candida or diabetes) then a lot of fruit isn't the best idea, you'd need more vegetables to blance the fruit sugar.
