I have a question - I own a vitamix, so smoothies are not a problem. I do not own a juicer and can't afford 100s of dollars to buy one. That said, I would love to go on the 92-day juice feast. What are the differences (health benefit-wise) between juice feasting and green smoothie feasting?
Thanks!

Juice feasting rests the bowels completely, where as smoothies contain fiber so digestion is going to occur. I think most people lose the most weight on juice feasting. If you can't afford a juicer right now, do the smoothies until you can. Save up for a nice one because the cheap ones waste a lot of produce.

I don't know, I think I'm personally going to dissent. I think a green smoothie feast would be amazing-AND it would have the added benefit of not disrupting blood sugar. Not that Juice Feasts can't be healthful, I just think that there's no way a green smoothie feast wouldn't be. Make sense?

Putting together both the juice feasting and the green smoothie feasting you can get the benefits of both.

I just did a 28-day juice feast using my Vita-Mix. I would put everything in the blender, blend it up and then squeeze it thru my nut milk bag. So easy! I got the idea from Angela Stokes and her book about juice feasting. Alissa sells the nut bags and I think they are under $10. Good luck!

100s of dollars on a blender is usually totally unnecessary. for example the thrift store across the street from my office has a brand new looking cuisinart juicer for three dollars...it has been there about a month.....I see them all the time. I paid 7 dollars for mine about 10 years ago. and it is amazing. i juice all my greens...collards / kale etc no problem.....just no wheat grass

Wow! What a steal!! I don't care for wheat grass, all I need is a good juicer that won't break down after a month or two of daily usage. I'll start checking the thrift stores:) Thanks!
