give in to the craving even if your in your first week.
I am/was on day 5 of 100%. I gave in. I didn't bring enough to eat and work is out of control today. Major crazy. I didn't want to be a meany head to people calling in so I ate a small sandwich. It's been an hour, and even though i was hungry earlier, i still felt awake and alert and not foggy.
now an hour later, i'm tired, foggy, not alert, and my muscles hurt.... strange.
I'm not doing that again. i feel horrible. It hurts to even type this up.
I just had to mention this.

Stacy, I feel ya!
I have a feeling staying raw is more important than we know. Our bodies had built up all kinds of makeshift protection against the toxic foods we used to eat, mucoid plaque, fat insulating toxins, etc, plus built up a tolerance. Of course it's the best thing we can do for ourselves to get rid of all of this, but once it's gone we have no protection. Can you imagine how sick a baby would get if you fed her Doritos?
My friend told me, can't remember where he said he read it.. about a guy who was 100% raw for a long time and one day suddenly went back to 100% SAD, the guy died! I'll ask him where he read that.. I'm not saying having a little SAD is going to threaten your life, lol, but we do need to be careful and pay attention to how we feel if we do munch on a little bit of what used to be edible for us, it may not be any more!
I had to have some coffee a few weeks ago because I was driving and getting sleepy, so got a soy latte, I was still feeling off for a week after that. Well the next day I had to have another, so it was two soy lattes and then some regular coffee, ooooohhh i felt horrible! Then I realized that this icky slow headachy foggy feeling used to be completely normal, isn't that sad?

You know, I bounced back and forth between Raw and not just cooked but junk for a year. I'd be strictly raw for awhile and eat crap and feel like crap. But what a good lesson. I had to learn it that way. The hard way:o I gave up gluttony and received something 1000% better.

It is sad and crazy b/c I was just saying that to my husband 30 minutes ago. I told him I'm never doing that again. I was just saying that I can't believe the difference I feel now than I did this morning. It's like a slower process to get to the point I was at before I ate that sandwich. Compared to the hour it took to start feeling like I used to after eating the sandwich.
One minute stressed, hungry but still feel no bloat, no foggy head, no tiredness, I'm floating on air feeling to...
BAM!!! This is how you used to feel!!!
good thing tomorrow is the 1st. 30 days is the challenge. :)
