I've known for some time that I need to make a major lifestyle change. Right after high school I did the Atkins diet, and I did lose weight... but it wasn't sustainable. I'm still not sure how you can eat that way and not clog your arteries. Anyway... I saw Alissa on Tyra the other day and her idea's intrigued me. I guess you could say I'm in the learning stage right now. I plan to buy the book, but I'd like to get started making the transition fairly soon.


Anyway... I'm 23 and realizing that while I'm still young, I need to establish a healthy lifestyle now if I want to avoid health problems later. The clock is ticking.

I'll try to get past the fact that this board is little more than a clever marketing tool for the book, and actually learn something! :p

Speaking of tools. I feel like one for learning about this from a tv show.

Actually RedRock...this is a source of unlimited support for a great deal of people living this way of life...far more than a sales gimmick. It takes a lot to keep a site going. Hoping you find what you're looking for here~

Yeah, I chose my name because my favorite place to hike in town is called Red Rock Canyon.

I see the place in Vegas is called Red Rock Canyon too. Hm.

Hey I'm 25 and a raw foodist. I used to do Atkins also. Raw food is transforming to say the least. Welcome to the rest of your life, your journey has begun.
