My digestion is pretty bad considering I've been raw since April. I "go" daily, sometimes 2-3x a day, but I still feel "stuck" and my stomach is forever distended and rounded.
Some things I've done so far:
-Lots of water daily
-Exercise daily (heart pounding cardio and weights) That helps get me moving ;)
-Green smoothies - that helps a LOT
-No bananas. Period. That has made a huge difference. Even 1/2 is too much for me.
-Limit nuts and no nut butters for a while
-Added coconut oil - that really makes my bowels move
-flax crackers helps, but I wont eat dehydrated crackers daily
I'm not sure what else to do because I'm still pretty stuck and my stomach is distended. Between green smoothies, coconut oil (1 tablespoon a day) and fruit and/or coconut smoothies, I eat mono fruit, large salads, raw Sushi or nori rolls with sprouts, and so on.
I'm thinking I might need a colonic if this keeps up. Does anyone have any other dietary ideas?
