I love listening to them as well. Even tho Im a senior at this raw school, I still like listening. I even like Alissa's voice. Something about her voice when she talks, makes me hungry, I dont know why. Her tone, the way she pronounces, Makes me hungry. Go figure!

I know what you mean about Alissa's voice, her tone, the way she pronounces, etc. She speaks the truth and it's so much easier to listen to someone that KNOWS what they are talking about, is SINCERE about it, LIVES it, is HONEST! She makes listening fun. That's why her DVD is awesome too. Watching AND listening to her is a real treat. Now that it's been a year, I'll have to rewatch her DVD. She isn't a snakeoil salesman trying to sell you something or convince you about something or wanting your money by selling you a bill of goods. She speaks the truth and it just MAKES SENSE. So listening is easy.

You too Revvell. You say things that I think a lot about. You have a very good way of speaking and getting "it out there". You tell it like it is and that is a very good thing. I would love sometime to listen to one of your speeches at a school. I know. I know, you're thinking and probably saying out loud, "Well come on the cruise", but I've explained I don't think I'd like a cruise, but that's me. I'd say if anyone has the chance to hop on and take this cruise, I'm betting it would be well worth it.

Thanks again girls! I always learn something and always look forward to these discussions.

Is there a way to sign up so that you get emailed with the newest podcasts?

Oh, and it's basically just a radio show that is free to the listeners. You can find them on virtually any topic and you listen to them on an mp3 player or an iPod, which is simply a little gadget that stores music, books (on CD) and pictures/movies depending on the model. Like a new version of the walkman-only way cooler. It also is great for the environment-everyting is downloadable. You no longer have to buy CD's in a store, just download them onto you computer and stick 'em on your iPod. Nothing ends up in a landfill.

Yeah. Actually, if you listen to it again, there are a lot of references to children and diet and movement and such. You would've laughed if you'd have seen me yelling back to the computer!;)

Yeah, I understand which is why we're now holding classes. Don't feel bad. When Bo and I go to speak about podcasting and blogging I always ask if anyone would like us to start speaking English.

Actually, one doesn't really need an iPod or any MP3 player to listen. You can listen directly from your computer but it is nice to be able to download it and carry it with you. Another way would be to download it onto a blank cd and then stick it in a cd player.

Alissa and I do a weekly podcast called: Rawkin Radio where folks can listen to us chat about raw food and sometimes raw life. Here's the link to that one: http://rawcast.rawkinradio.com/. Just click on the little arrow and something should make noise.

My other ones can be found at: http://revvell.com/. I've got some where I interview successful people; another where I interview raw (mostly) people including Alissa, Jinjee, Storm, etc. and one more where I interview book authors. Just started that one.

Hope this helps some.

Uhh, yup! *looking now* O.k., look on the left side... scroll down and it says "subscribe to this podcast. I have no idea what happens when you do. I think you put your email addy in the lil space. OR, you can subscribe with iTunes a little farther up. Don't know what happens when you do that either. I'm not exactly a techie chickie meself here. LOL

Oh, yeah, now I'm thinking about it. There's more in the podcast than in the book though. I think I was basically steering her more towards my audience than hers. She's getting a LOT of hits though. She's got quite a fan base.

Thanks for the reply Revvell. I'm going to try to listen using my computer .It's kind of an old one, I only have dial up and no cd function. But I think I should be able to listen to your talks. I'll give it a try.

Hi Revvell,
I tried but with dial up it's just toooo slow. I have some friends moving in to share my space hopefully by this winter and they will hook me up to something faster so I will listen then. Trying to get as much info as I can.
Thanks,
Diane

I have dial up too. It takes me over an hour and a half to download, but it's so worth it.
