Coolest Dog Treat Idea!

I was in a natural pet food store yesterday, and saw a new kind of "rawhide" - it was dehydrated yam slices! They'd been dehydrated to the point of tough, and they contained absolutely NO chemicals, preservatives, etc - just dehydrated yams! I'm going to be making my pups some of these!

Our dogs love these! We also have made some with great success.

Another treat they love....flax crax with almond butter or avocado....apples are also a hit.....:)

As for the yam slices, i made some one time and i didn't like them. i should have kept them aside for them as treats...didn't think about it.

My "girls" eat them as snacks all the time now. Well, not ALL the time, but whenever they are good girls!
