Ok, this may seem weird to ask, but ever since I've been on this forum, I've heard people speak of their "dh".....now, I know it means their husband, but what the heck does the 'd' stand for?! It's driving me crazy!! I tried to search for it, but came up with nothing. If someone could PLEASE tell me.....

Dear husband (or at least, that's how Í use it).
Maybe others prefer :mad: devilish husband or :confused: dumn (or damn) husband?

If I were to use it, it would be Dear Husband for me.
I've also seen on other forums people use it for their kids. DD dear daughter, DS dear son.:D

haha.. thanks shell16 for inquiring... I also didn't know exactly, but assumed it was husband. I'm french and everything in another language is that much more complex it seems when abbreviated! but... it makes it that much more interesting nevertheless.

I first heard the term "DH" on a trying-to-conceive message board and was always told it stood for "Designated Hitter." :D :D

I like that and I'm sticking to it.

ahahah, this is so funny- i've been wondering myself, actually it was driving me NUTS because i couldn't figure it out. :D
