I found out a few days ago that there is a new spot of light skin on my chin :|

Is it the new skin hiding under?

Is it a sun something ?

Amused by this :| It looks as if I tried light make up with my finger on my chin and forgot to take it off....

what the...?

Anyone... Ideas?

Lots of love and smiles to you all,
Mary

I have recently developed some of these on my arms. It appears to be a lack of pigmintation but I do not know why I suddenly got them.
Edit to say. Maybe it is a Mary thing.

Mary, could it be sun damage?

I have those also, and the older I get, the more I have. It's like the pigment is just going away.

My mother's hands are almost without pigment.
Perhaps it is genetic...?

How are you doing, by the way?

Hmm... no one has any expirience of how can you get it off??
It's not genetic in my family as far as I know...
Maybe it will heal with time and it's only a detox of my skin..?

My mum has mentioned that my face colour had become darker (I've always been really pale... and live in a really sunny country)
And maybe that's why I can see this spot?

I might actually post a picture...
And defenetlly check over the net for herbs I can use to put on or drink...

I have it. I have an olive complexion because I am European and I have lighter skin spots around my shoulders. I am not sure what it is from. It doesn't bother me that much because I know that in a few years it won't be there anymore. Dead skin peels off and heals on it's own

I have olive skin and was getting these white spots on my arms. They looked like chicken pox scars. Since going raw and drinking DAILY green smoothies with plenty of kale, daily salads, etc they have begun to fade. Now if only some of those pesky moles I have been fighting will fall off like Victoria Boutenko mentions in Green for Life!

the white spots could be scar tissue losing pigment

I had a friend that went to the doctor for this problem and that's what it turned out to be. The formerly red scars slowly faded to white, and for a while the flat scars were light pink and blended into the rest of the skin.

Victoria Boutenko is right. I had a growth on my eye and my son was horribly embarassed by it. It is totally gone now - thanks to raw foods.

Getting back here little by little step by step...
and just wondered around the topics i was talking about a few months ago...
so i do still have the spot but its much less noticable- that's because i became back pale- for not staying raw 100% (lots of things been going throuhg.. but thats a long story hehe)
so with lots of hope i'm getting back into the raw.. never really left.. but u know i have more time to deal with myself now... so i believe it will disapear and peal off with the dead skin after lots of detox ^^
BTW - my partner mentioned it's really cute... when I smile it turns to be in "HEART" shape =) so for now I'm the "love fairy" :p

lots of love to you all,
and thank you again
