Does anyone know how to store Nama Shoyu and how long it lasts? I bought one of the huge bottles and after a while there were these white flakies inside so I threw it out. Then on the very bottom there was a sticker that said 1A07 so I'm guessing that means it expired on August 1st which means it's not good for very long at all. Unless that sticker is just some kind of code.. I dont know. Are you supposed to keep opened Nama Shoyu in the fridge?
And what about Kombucha tea? Does that go in the fridge as well? And how long does it last?
Thanks!

Hi Mel!
I store my Nama Shoyu in the fridge. I had that happen to me once when I just left it in the cupboard. Hasn't happened to me since I started storing it in the fridge. And yes, kombucha should be kept in there too. HTH!:D

Hi Shell16. Where do you live? I'm in Bloor West Village and there's a health food store here called Peach Tree. They have some raw products like the Nama Shoyu. Whole Foods in Yorkville and Oakville also have it.
