Hi everyone I am 18 years old from northeastern united states, i am here after a long but worthwhile year of growth and development mentally, physically and spiritually.
It began near the middle of my last semester in college, i had realized i had become increasingly tired and exhausted for no apparent reason. in the morning i would get extreme headaches after eating, ended up falling asleep during classes though i had gotten plenty of sleep:confused:
one day while researching this i came across a website newstarget.com. it contained a whole wealth of information that i learned from day in and day out finally realizing my diet was to blame for my exhaustion. i began by cutting dairy completely out of my diet continued on to exclude meat, then certain ingredients - refined sugars, corn syrup, white flour, MSG etc. I noticed a huge improvement over my whole well being and after that my goal was to optimize this. by the middle of the summer i avoided most grains and consumed mostly fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. After further extensive research, trial and error, and other factors i discovered the diet that is right for me, a fruitarian diet of mostly fruits and some seeds and occasional herbal remedy when necessary as well as on rare occasions a supplementation of spirulina and chlorella as a cleanser . i haven't felt so alive ever. The story which inspired me is that of Li Chung Yun (true or not is irrelevant to me) which is why i now consume goji berries (Yum) on a daily basis because i believe antioxidants are an important part of the diet.
I feel bad when i look all around me and see all the faces of whom are still under the tyranny of the processed food industry and pharmaceuticals. yet when i try to inform them of what they are consuming and all the negative side effects it seems it goes in one ear and out the other uninterested... it seems people are most interested about taste not nutrition. non-whole grains and pasteurized homogenized dairy and red meat are nutritionally worthless yet that is what i see most people consuming in abundance avoiding natural fruits, vegetables, whole and sprouted grains/seeds,and raw nuts and legumes. I suppose information for them must then be learned for themselves if at all as progression and the gaining of knowledge are the main goals of humans. thanks for reading.
