For the last 30 days I have been 100% at being 75% raw. What that means for me is eating raw all day long except I have one cooked meal a day. I did this so I could work my way into it. One of those cooked meals may include a fish taco. Previously I tried it totally cold turkey and I was a basket case at 6 days and then went back to my old ways. I was feeling pretty good until the last few days and there were a few other days that didn't feel so good. Right now I am wondering if I am getting too much sugar. I am following David Wolfe's all raw diet plan in The Sunfood Diet Success System. I just start feeling a bit weak, mentally foggy, a little anxious, little edgey. I really really want to get to 100% but I am ready to go backwards and I am hoping I can get some help here.

I was reading in another post about sugars that maybe you shouldn't eat so many. Ummmm so what the heck do I eat then instead?

If you are not familiar with the book here's an example of day 1

Morning - 3 pounds of watermelon

Afternoon - 2 mangos, 1 avocado, 3 sticks of celery

Snack - 2 mangos

Evening - once large lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and green onion salad with one handful of raw sunflower seeds, two avocados, and a fresh-squeezed lemon for dressing.

What do ya think? Is there something I can eat besides a cooked meal or fish to feel balanced? Is there a better diet plan out there I can look up online?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds like you are detoxing a bit and the cooked food will only slow down your detox. It's better if you can go 100% raw, detox fully and get it over with but I wouldn't change your food selections....they look pretty balanced. You might need to eat a little more. Your portions look awful small.

Sounds like detox to me too.
If you think your meals are high in sugars, try replacing one or two of the fruit meals with green leafy salads, or make raw nori rolls (great fish replacement!). You could add some sprouts to your salads, they are really wonderful and so nutrient packed. It gives me a buzz of energy every time anyway... Or... do I hear Veganforlife shouting in the background... 'Green smoothies'?

Are you drinking caffeine? I have been eating 100% raw for one week during which I also gave up caffeine. Detox has been very evident. All the symptoms you mentioned plus a lot of bloating and not a lot of interest in food. I am really trying to listen to my body and not force myself to eat something it doesn't want. I've been hitting the juice (celery, spinach, apple, kale, etc..) a couple times a day, and after a week am just starting to feel some balancing happening. I have read that raw fats bind with toxins and aid in their removal from the body. I really believe in listening to your body. We are all different, and that prescribed diet you mentioned may not be 100% fit for you. Good luck man.
