Hello, my name is Ron, I'm 39, a musician/songwriter from Fullerton, CA and I am definitely sold on the idea of being raw. It's been a slow transition for me but it's always on my mind and I want to be 100% very soon, tomorrow if I figure out what to eat.

I quit eating red meat 14 years ago, chicken turkey like 6 years ago, sodas 3 years ago, candy 4 years ago.... anyway you get the picture it's been a loooong transistion for me.

It's tough, even when you read the posts on this forum everyone has a different opinion.... so which one is right for me, I do not know yet..... I will be posting more in the other topic.

Welcome to your raw journey :)

There's lots of great information on this board. Join one of the 30-day challenges and you'll be among people who share day-to-day stories of what's working for them and what's not, and how to thrive on raw.

Good to meet you!

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!! I loove your name - very cool! It sounds like your heart is in the right place and you are on the path - truly seeking the answers that will help you reclaim your health. You've already started taking those steps and that's great.

When I started on this path - I was very similar to you... wanted it - but really didn't know what to do ~ how to do it... and well... I needed to figure out WHAT TO EAT!! lol...

May I suggest Alissas book and DVD ~ these two tools helped me understand this journey - and also helped me to transition to the raw lifestyle successfully. they were invaluable for me and incredible blessings that I continue to use every day.

I look forward to following your journey - and I wish you much success... I think you will really enjoy this forum - it's a great place to gather information and get support...

RAWK ON !!! hang on and .... enjoy the ride!!

blessings....
