I have read about ex-frutitarians ,who said they lost A LOT of weight ,until they added in green leafy veggies. Which is odd ,b/c green veggies are MUCH lower in cals than fruit ......it just seems strange that it made them gain weight ......no mention was said about nuts or avo...... has any body heard of people who did this ,and do you guys have any ideas or comments about this "phenominon"?

Perhaps they put lots of oil on their greens? *shrugs*

A lot of this would depend on how much they weighed in the first place. I'd be interested in reading that ~ how many ex-fruitarians are we talking about?

When I first became vegetarian I checked out a personals site dedicated only to vegetarians. There were also quite a few raw foodists there. The one thing I noticed is, many, if not most of, the men were ~ to me ~ waaaaayyyy underweight. A lot of them weighed 145-165 at a height of 6' to 6'2. THAT to me is too skinny. It's possible, with the addition of greens, the came to what to me would be a more "normal" weight?

Hard to tell with so little information.
