I often get really bad bloating even after a salad... could this be food allergy?

What's in your salad?

I doubt it. It could be your body adjusting to the fiber. Make sure to chew very well!

I just posted something similar before reading this. How long have you been 100% raw? Just a few days for me and I'm experiencing the same thing. I'm hoping it passes soon. I don't want to cheat (I actually have no desire to) but I have had this habit of eating horribly when I'm bloated because I figure, what the heck...I'm already bloated, lol.

Okay... PEOPLE... I love you to death... But come on.

You have been eating cooked dead food for a very long time, all of a sudden you start eating this food that has such fibrous content, your own enzymatic levels are low from the foods you have eatin previously. So the body says WHOA what is this new food were getting... So the stomach bloats as a result of it adjusting all that fiber.

Research what happens to the body when one goes from lil to HIGH FIBER...

It's not food allergies, Fear, bad combining of foods, Fear, or the raw boogyman coming to make you go back to cooked food. ITS YOUR BODY ADJUSTING. It means your body IS WORKING to digest this new food. You stomach acids, etc are working harding to digest this stuff... It's all part of the process. It will go down after awhile of adjusting. To make it easier for you, you can always add Digestive Enzymes (vegan is best) to help assist the body in the digesting the plant fiber etc.

You never had to chew this much eating cooked, Your body has been so short of fibrous foods, its all about adjusting. Hang in...
