Good morning everybody,

can anybody tell me where i can purchase both pine nuts and Bragg liquid aminos?? i went to Bragg's website and i could purchase the liquid from there, but i was wondering if it's sold in local stores (so that i can make my first raw recipe TODAY)!

thank u, tipp

They sell Bragg's products (aminos, cider vinegar, etc.) at Whole Foods and Wild Oats. I get the best prices on raw nuts, including pine nuts, at Trader Joe's.

thanks Ang,

altho' Trader Joe's is about 25min. from me, i'll have to make a trip up there sometime soon. I don't think i have a Whole Foods near me, but i'll double check. Thanks again,
tipp

I don't know where you live, but I get mine at Henry's, Sprout's, Trader Joes or Whole Foods...
Hope this helps!

urgh. dont get braggs liquid aminos. get NAMA SHOYU instead. unless im out of the loop, my understanding was that braggs are no longer recommended by alissa--use the search tool and i think you'll come up with a bunch of posts about why braggs aminos are "questionable." theyre not raw either. although neither is nama shoyu--its live but not raw--but id say its still a better choice.

thanks kaybee,

i didn't know re: Braggs Liquid Aminos no longer recommended.

Has anyone ever made the raw Fettucine Alfredo recipe from Alissa's book? that's why i've been in search for the pine nuts and BLA. those are the only 2 ingredients i'm missing.

ditto what kaybee said, get Nama Shoyu instead.

When you buy your pine nuts, just a warning that a lot of them are "Product of China," so if that concerns you for health risks, you could seek them to be from another source of origin.
